Exciting News For Junior Civitans
DR. TIMOTHY & DEBBIE JUHLKE
CHARITABLE FUND FOR
JUNIOR CIVITAN INTERNATIONAL
APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE!
The purpose of the Juhlke Charitable Fund is to foster growth of Junior Civitan International membership throughout the world by assisting in retention of existing clubs, building of new clubs, and the recruitment of new members.
The Juhlke Charitable Fund consists of 2 different types of grants:
1.The Service Grant ($250 USD)
Available to Junior Civitan Clubs that find themselves needing additional funds to complete a service project or plan a fundraiser. Such club(s) is considered a “struggling” club as defined under the Fund as “an active Junior Civitan Club, otherwise in good standing with Civitan and Junior Civitan International, having less than twenty (20) members on record with Junior Civitan International.”
2.The Club Building Grant ($300 USD)
Available for the building of a new Junior Civitan Club.
Service Grants and Club Building Grants are NEVER to be used to pay individual or club dues to the District or Civitan International, either current or past due. Funds are never to be used to pay any registration fee for any Area, District, Regional, or International meeting or convention of Junior Civitan International or any conference, meeting, or training fee sponsored by a third party, whether individual, group or organization.
Each grantee agrees to provide receipts to Junior Civitan International on behalf of the Juhlke Family Advisory Committee to support that the funds were used for the intended purpose and return any unused funds within the timeframe specified by Junior Civitan International on behalf of the Advisory Committee at the time of approval.
APPLICATIONS DUE DECEMBER 7
